Yes, I’m an intermediate researcher user in GNU/Linux openSUSE or IT related. I used computer for the first time when I was in collage university (6 years ago), in computer laboratory, studying word processor (that’s when i even didn’t know how to turn the monitor on.. ha ha ha). Though I’m a teaching assistant right now (operating system, computer networking, and PC assembly labworks, and algorithm programming course) in Teknik Komputer-Unikom, I feel that I’m still newbie, need more time to understand how the kernel (especially Linux) works in more details..
So, having this domain name and hosting freely from Vavai is a surprise gift. You know I’m not a special one in Indonesian openSUSE community (even I attended in the first openSUSE-Id gathering, and joined the organization), but perhaps it is a nice chance to write useful (especially openSUSE related) for everyone who needs it.. Thanks Vavai!
I’m writing about some program applications tutorials (that runs in openSUSE) in the next posts, describing briefly about, how they run, and how they usually implemented in, and I want to talk about openSUSE it self. You can read some writing about my personal activities here too, but in a less space. By the way, you can see my old writings (openSUSE related) too.
As an openSUSE user, I’m using openSUSE 10.3 with KDE 4.0.2 (at the time i write this post) in my whole computer activity. Ok, See you soon in the next post.. and have fun with Linux! ![]()
