Amarok developers are proudly announcing Amarok 2.0 (code name: kutie). This music player application for Linux (also available for Mac OS X and Windows platform) gets more improvement in new technologies and design pattern that makes use the miracle of KDE 4.
openSUSE users will probably get this newest version of Amarok in KDE repositories, actually in KDE-unstable Repository (for openSUSE 11.1), and for you who runs other GNU/Linux Distribution or other operating system will find useful information here.

Siippp mas, saya sudah mencobanya selama 2 hari ini. Amarok 2 ini berjalan lancar di openSUSE 11.0
Sebenarnya sih bukan versi 2 tapi versi 1.98 (dibulatkan jadi 2).
Saya update juga dari yast dan repository dari kde:factory apa packman yahh aku lupa.
Tampilan sih ciamik dan suaranya mantab bener….

Alhamdulillah, bagus klo begitu..
Sepertinya yang versi 1.98 (kde4-amarok-1.98.5-16.3.i586.rpm?) tersebut adalah Amarok 2.0 Beta 1 (atau 2?). Untuk Amarok 2.0 (final release) sudah saya tambahkan 1-Click Install-nya di bagian +Update posting tulisan ini.

mau tanya dikit om, kalo engine nya lebih optimal dengan gstreamer ato tetep pake xine-hq ya soalnya saya lebih prefer dengan desktop gnome nih.
