I’ve joined to the local LUG (KLuB, Klub Linux Bandung) since it held new board election in RMS’s event at (Aula Barat) ITB in 2004. That was my first step to begin contributing to the community. Spreading GNU/Linux to other (heterogenous) community, and finally took participant (led by Vavai) on building Indonesian openSUSE Community (openSUSE-Id) 3 years latter. (more…)

May Allah Swt. guide you to be a Great Muslimah and having great honor in this fragile world to the Second Life. Amin.
One GNU/Linux user was born (again)..

When looking for right moment and inspiration on how to give report about what i’ve done (give some lectures in Unikom, ILC2008-Bali, and AAoS-Jakarta) these days in contributing to the community, i find this site have changed its design today (?). Pretty (even it’s little strange to look), but more than that she did great things on FOSS (especially usability in KDE), she is one of many contributors on how to make KDE easy to use (”it just works!” she said) and also entertains the user and help thousands of people did their jobs fast and efficiently.
I like her and i care about them too, and hopefully i can do the same (or perhaps more) things on how to provide Linux (and related to it) easier to use and make the user always happy..
I need to write down this post, because it’s important when some tutorial I write needs more information refer to what hardware platform– processor that is used or size of my main memory machine, what kind of graphic adapter that it’s powered, etc– I’m using in those tutorials. So, the reader of this blog can consider on how to follow my tutorials correctly.
Almost all my posts are taken from many events that occur in my laptop– how things make some errors, how it’s important to report, and usefull to be documented. And it’s of course written in this laptop too..
Ok, lets see then how I describe my own machine in this my favorite blog..

Yes, I’m an intermediate researcher user in GNU/Linux openSUSE or IT related. I used computer for the first time when I was in collage university (6 years ago), in computer laboratory, studying word processor (that’s when i even didn’t know how to turn the monitor on.. ha ha ha). Though I’m a teaching assistant right now (operating system, computer networking, and PC assembly labworks, and algorithm programming course) in Teknik Komputer-Unikom, I feel that I’m still newbie, need more time to understand how the kernel (especially Linux) works in more details..
